What is Shahadah?
The Shahadah is the declaration of faith and the first pillar of Islam. By sincerely declaring belief in Allah and accepting Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as His Messenger, a person enters the faith of Islam.
Shahadah:
“Ashhadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasul Allah.”
Meaning:
“I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”
